September 11, 2008 – Wow…I guess I really need to be a little better about keeping our website updated…LOL.  I guess a lot has happened in the last 3 years.  To start with, we have gone to myspace.  Myspace is a big part of why this website has been so neglected.  If you have not yet visited our myspace, please go to www.myspace.com/knucklestone and send us a friend’s request.  Our myspace is checked almost daily so it is definitely up to date.  Okay…now that we have that out of the way…We have been working over a year on our new cd.  We have put a lot of heart and soul into this project and want it to be as close to perfect as we can get it.  This desire for perfection has delayed the release several times already.  We are expecting to have this ready for you guys in a couple of months.  We have some of the rough cuts of the music up on our myspace now.  I will soon have it added to the website for you to listen to also.  We want the final cuts up on the website though.  Due to the volume of music uploaded to myspace, they have to compress any uploaded music to a small file, meaning you lose a lot of the actual quality of the music.  The cd quality songs will be uploaded here for you.  I will notify you when this is up.  Also, we have slacked on sending out emails to our guestbook friends.  We are going to be sending those out again soon so be sure to give us your most up-to-date emails on the guestbook page.  Finally, we are in the final negotiations for LA Deltafest.  This is the region’s largest two day festival.  We were slotted to open up for Cowboy Mouth on Sunday, November 12th at Chennault Park.  Some things have been moved around in the line-up for Sunday, so we are back to negotiating.  I will keep you guys posted on this outcome.  Thanks to you guys for being such great friends and fans to us and of our music.  We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to entertain you guys.  Be sure to check out the Dates page to see all of the events coming up.  See you at Sixth Street September 20th.

April 12, 2005 Well…we have one more show before we

take a small break to polish up material and begin recording

our second cd.  I have been tossing around the idea for the name

of this cd, and though we have come up with a few things, we just

have not seemed to have been completely sold on anything.  Maybe

we will have a “name our CD” contest or something gay like that…

lmao.  We hope to see you all at the April 23rd show.  At the

April 2nd show at Sixth Street, we played live for the first time

our newest original “Do You Need Me”.  It went over real well,

especially for those who were just sober enough to remember…LoL

March 3, 2005 – Man, I always forget to update this

Page!!!  Well…I will try to catch you up.  We have two new

originals in the works, one written by Beaux “Super Hero” and

one by Jamie yet to be named.  Both songs seem to be really

good, just need all the fine tuning touches.  The new year was

started out with a bang.  In case you were not at the show

for New Years Eve, Beaux proposed to his girlfriend, Nancy,

just before midnight over the microphones for everyone to

share in this occasion.  Fortunately for him, she said yes.

We did video this and you can view it here. As for Jamie and

Craig, well they still got their health and the band is moving

forward.  There is some discussion in the works that we may be

playing for a benefit that supports battered women.  As soon

as the details come available, you guys will be the first to

know.

August 27th, 2004 – Well our writing new orginals

continues in a positive direction.  We just recently found

out that we will be one of the opening acts for Tantric on

Labor Day Night, September 6th,2004.  We are really excited

about being able to open for Tantric.  One of the main

reasons for this excitement is the chance to showcase our-

selves as an original band.  It is sad, but true that our

local crowds just do not support original music.  We are a

party band or cover band as far as our normal gigs go.  But

this opportunity allows us to present ourselves in a different

light.  We will be unleashing four brand new songs that are

being seasoned for our new cd that we are working on.  Click

Here to learn more about this show.

August 10th, 2004 During the August 7th show, we

dropped hints of work on our 2nd album.  Though we play lots

of covers at our live shows, we truly love to write and play

our own original music.  We are spending a lot of time

fine tuning and writing the new material.  Titles to look

are Blanka Blanka, If you want me to, and Lost and Found.

We all love the first cd “Ditch”(need a copy? email us to

find out how to get one), but we all feel that the songs

of this new cd(yet to be named)are some of the best work of

our music careers.  Be sure to request these songs at the

next live appearance of Knucklestone.

August 8th, 2004 How awesome!!!  You guys rock!!!

We have had over 200 hits on our website in the past month!!

Thanks to you all and your word of mouth and emailing!!!

We now have 30 members on our guestbook.  That Rocks!!!

Thank you new members, and keep a look on your email boxes

for promotions, discounts, and special events that only you

will be entitled to.  Thanks for helping us spread the word.

Trust me…without your help no one would have heard of the

show.  Always remember…”Promises Suck”.

August 7th, 2004 The Return to Stage Show at the

Blue Monkey Tavern went off famously despite the short

amount of time to promote this event.  Rest assured, if

you did not hear about the show in time, we have rectified

that situation.  (A word to the younger bands coming up…

“Promises don’t book and promote gigs…signed contracts get

results.”) What a Party it was!!! It was really good to see

some of those same and loyal faces out there and was really

good to see some new ones too.  It felt great to be back

on stage doing what we love to do.  Though there is still

a little rust on these ol’boys, we are already gearing up

for the next party.  Keep in touch to find out the when and

where.
